Mayo-Haki Community Development Co-operative Society in Jada LGA, Adamawa State has commended the Member representing Leko-Koma constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Geoffrey Bulus for quality representation.
The community commended Hon. Bulus who is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Health and Human Resources for providing good leadership for his constituents.
The community made the commendation while presenting a letter of appreciation and appeal for intervention to the lawmaker at the Assembly Complex during the week.
Speaking while presenting the letter on behalf of the delegation, the Chairman of the Co-operative Society, Permsec Mahmud Abubakar, said that the community and its environs are appreciative to him for identifying with their yearnings and aspirations.
Mahmud particularly commended him for his timely intervention by rehabilitating their Community Health Centre, saying he has proven beyond any shadow of doubt that he is really a reliable representative of the people.
He used the opportunity and registered their concern about the attitude of In-Charge of the health centre and appealed to him to intervene, saying that government cannot afford to play with the health of its citizens.
He further hailed him for salvaging their health centre and prayed God Almighty to grant him sound health and wisdom to continue in providing good representation and urged other leaders to emulate him.
Speaking while receiving the delegation, Hon. Geoffrey Bulus, thanked them for their visit to register with his representation at the assembly as well as their support and solidarity to him.
Hon. Bulus, said that he was elected by the teeming electorate in Leko-Koma to provide good leadership and assured them of his commitment to continue touch the lives of his constituents.
He assured them that he will look into their request concerning the operation of the health centre and appealed to them not to relent in supporting him to enable him succeed.
In his remarks, the Speaker of the assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, commended the delegation for coming to the assembly to identity with the performance of their colleague.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya informed them they had made a right choice in voting for the legislator and commended the member for carrying his people along in his stewardship and assured them that the member will continue in providing good representation.
He used the opportunity and donated the sum of N500,000 on behalf of the assembly members to enable the community commence an electrification project which they had requested the member to intervene.
