The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, condoled the Commander Nigeria Air Force, 153 Base Service Group Yola, over the demise of 5 officers.
CP Dankombo in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that the tragic incident has cast a pall of grief over the entire officers and men of the command.
"The Adamawa Police Command shares in the deep pain and loss felt by the Nigerian Air Force, families, and all associated personnel. The deceased officers served with distinction, honour, and dedication. Their contributions to the safety and security of our nation will not be forgotten.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and colleagues of the fallen officers during this period of mourning. We pray that God Almighty to grant them the strength to endure this immense loss and may the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace", CP added.
He command identifies with the Nigeria Air Force during this difficult time and reaffirms its commitment to continue collaboration in ensuring the security and peace of Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.
