The Remains of Senator Jonathan Silas Zwingina has been committed to mother earth at his hometown in Guyuk Local Government Area of Adamawa state at the age of 70.
The Deputy Governor, Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta who represented Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the funeral service held at Dishon Dansanda square Guyuk, prayed for God to raise men and women that are fearless and brave to fill the vacuum he left behind
The Governor said that the deceased had lived a fulfilled life woth of emulation, saying that the legacy he left behind will continue to speak for him.urged the living to seek their creator before is too late.
He described the death of late Zwingina as a great lost not only to Guyuk nation, state and the country but the globe as whole.
According to the Governor, there is no better time to reconcile with the lord than now that they are still alive, charged them to always be their brothers keeper and build a strong relationship with one another.
Late senator Jonathan Silas Zwingina was born on 1st August 1954 at Falu ,a rural community in Guyuk and died on 2nd day of October 2024.
The burial ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas(Adamawa Central), Senator Rev. Aos Yohanna Kumai(Adamawa North), Senator Binos Yaroe (Adamawa South) among several other dignitaries.
