Some unknown persons have stoned the Commander of Local Hunters Association Adamawa state, Adamu Dogo Livo, to dead.
Likewise, some unidentified gunmen have shot the Chairman Miyetti Association Song Local Government branch, Gide Alhaji Manya, more than 10 times, leading to his untimely death.
The assailants also wounded 4 Members of the Vigilantee Group who were together with the Miyetti Allah Chieftain during the attack.
The Commander of the Hunters was said to have been attacked near Modo village while on his way from Song town to his hometown in Livo Mboi around 11:00pm on Thursday last week.
Family sources told NEWS PLATFORM that the attackers who might have monitored the movement of Dogo, laid ambush where they attacked him during which they stoned him to dead.
According to sources, the Commander was attacked while on a commercial motorcycle to his hometown, adding that no sign of bullet wounds on his body except the injuries he sustained as a result of beating with sticks and throwing of stones.
While the Chairman of Miyetti Allah was shot dead in his Toyota starlet on his way from Murke(Bariki) to his village known as Maigero in Song LGA on Sunday last week.
Gide Alhaji, was said to have died on the spot while 4 Members of the Vigilante Group escaped from the hoodlums.
When contacted, the Spokesman of the Police Command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, confirmed the killing of the Commander and Miyetti Allah Chieftain.
DSP Nguroje, told NEWS PLATFORM that the Command is deeply worried about the gruesome murder of those whom he described as critical stakeholders in securtity sector.
He said that the Commissioner of Police A.A.Alhaji, has ordered that investigation should be carried out so as to fish out the perpetrators.
