JUBILATION AS ADHA LEGISLATOR COMMISSIONS 11 BOREHOLES, SCIENCE LAB

 


Electorate across Michika Local Government Area in Adamawa State have showed encomiums on the Member representing their constituency at the State Assembly, Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada(Depolice) for sinking and commissioning 11 boreholes, a block of Science laboratory and classrooms in Michika.



The legislator took 3 days ( Thursday, Friday and Saturday last week) moving from one political ward to the other and commissioning the developmental projects he executed with a view to complementing the effort of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, in improving the living standard of his people. 



It was in recognition of his giant strides in less than 2 years that the electorate in the LGA made a clarion call on the Member whom they described as credible, visionary, focused, selfless and detribalised to formally declare his interest and contest for Michika/Madagali constituency at the House  of Representatives.


Cross section of the voters said apart from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who constructed and commissioned road projects in the LGA, no political office holder that has executed a single project not to talk of commissioning it for the benefit of the inhabitants of Michika LGA expect Hon. Depolice.  


According to them, such a trusted leader should be encouraged to go higher so as to enable him provide more dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots; hence their passionate appeal to him not to hesitate in contesting for Michika/Madagali Federal constituency.


The lawmaker had sank 11 hand pump boreholes at Trifue-Warakanza, Waramiki, Kwadzale, Giwe Livari, Kofar Alhaji Yunusa Mai Wake, Mbittera Wajiki, Anguwan Lughu Jidel, Sabon Gari Jidel, Dilichim, Mbrezihiwe and solar powered borehole at Michika central primary school.


Aside the provision of portable water supply to tens and thousands of his electorate, the legisator had also constructed a block of two classrooms and an office at GJSS Tilli and Science Laboratory at GDSS Futuless as part of his complimentary role in promoting the standard of education in the society.


It could also be recalled that the Honourable Member had within 2 years donated more than 10 vehicles to Michika and Bazza Divisional Police headquarters, Michika Local Hunters, former Concillors Forum, Health Workers Union in Michika, Maternity at General Hospital, Michika Concerned Citizens, Women Ambassadorial Ministry Initiative, Brethren Micro Finance bank, and Director Evangelism EYN, Kwarhi and several others.


Speaking while commissioning the projects, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, commended the legislator for providing democratic dividends to his constituents, explaining that the member has done Michika and the assembly proud with the projects. 


The Speaker who was represented at the event by the Member representing Lamurde constituency, Hon Bauna Myandassa, called on Michika electorate to support the member as well as the PDP led government in the state, saying that the concern of legislator is how to meet the yearnings and aspirations of his people, and that he needed to be supported to achieve more.


In his remarks, the Member representing the constituency, Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada, appreciated his electorate for giving him the mandate to represent them, saying that he decided to embark on the execution of the capital projects so as to improve the living standard of his constituents.


Hon. Depolice disclosed that he had promised during his electioneering campaign that he will provide water supply to his people if returned for second term, saying that he decided to fulfill his promises; hence ther provision of the democratic dividends.


He urged them to constitute committees to take care of the boreholes, and further appealed to them to make proper use of the boreholes for their benefit, calling on them to support him and Governor Ahmadu Umaru led administration. 


While at GDSS Futuless, the legislator told the gathering that he was informed that the school had no centre due to lack of science laboratory, and how the students encounter a lot of challenges while writing their final examinations, saying that with the construction of the science lab, the school will be given a center.


The Member who also graced the graduation ceremony of Diploma Students of John Guli Bible College in Michika, congratulated the students and the institution and pledged to provide them with water supply. 


In his goodwill message, the Member representing Leko Koma constituency, Hon. Abdullah Ahmadu, said that the electorate in the LGA had voted for the right person and called on them not disappoint him during future polls.


Also, in his goodwill message, PDP Stalwart in the state,  Alh. Yayaji Gombi, said that the member proved to be a good leader and gave him kudos for performing creditably well for his people.


Baring their minds, Ward Chairmen of the PDP, Traditional Rulers, Representatives of Women and Youths and several other stakeholders expressed happiness with what the member has done and pledged to rally round him to enable him contest for the House of Representatives come 2023.
