Ramadan/Easter: Sen Adamawa North Distributes Food Items to Electorate

 







In the spirit of solidarity and support to faithful during Ramadan fast as well as ahead Easter, the Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Rev. Amos K. Yohanna, has flagged off the distribution of assorted food items and other essential materials to his electorate.


The items include assorted bags of rice, sugar, spaghetti, vegetable oil, wrappers, shadda, mats and blankets to hundreds of his electorate.


The beneficiaries cut across Madagali, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha LGAs which comprise Adamawa North Senatorial District.


The initiatives aim to alleviate the burden on families during Ramadan fast and ensure that his teeming electorate both Muslims and Christians to observe the period with dignity and ease



According to him, it is his tradition as people representative to come to their aid with food palliatives and other valuable items to support muslim faithful during Ramadan and Christians ahead of Easter.


Cross section of beneficiaries applauded the Distinguished Senator for his quality representation and pledged their unalloyed support to him to enable him continue to represent them well.


The beneficiaries promised to make use of the food and non food items for the purpose intended and prayed God to continue to grand him wisdom and sound health to do more.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
