Rt. Hon. Bathiya Greets Muslims as Ramadan Fast Begins



The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley has congratulated Muslim ummah for seeing the commencement of this year's Ramadan fast. 


The Speaker in a Statement issued by his chief press secretary Hyellamada Bernard said  Muslim should use this period for total supplication to the will of Allah in accordance to the teachings of prophet Muhammed Peace be upon him. 


He maintained that Ramadan as one of the five pillars of islam, Muslim should embrace peace love and tolerance throughout the holy month.


Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley maintain that Ramadan offers another chance for Muslims to rededicate themselves to the worship of Allah.


He advised that people should use the period for sober reflection and pray for the state and the country as a whole.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
