BATTA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL TO CROWN ADAMAWA NUT CHAIR AS "NGRA BATTA" FEBRUARY 8TH

Batta Traditional Council in Adamawa State is set for another historic event as necessary arrangements have been completed for the turbaning ceremony of the current Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Adamawa state chapter, Comrade Rodney Nathan as "Ngra Batta"

Comrade Rodney is the Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Adamawa state chapter, Vice Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in the state and Deputy National Leader NUT, Arewa.

Like any other traditional institution in the country, Batta Traditional Council equally crowns its illustrious sons and daughters who distinguished themselves in their calling.

A copy of the invitation which was made available to NEWS PLATFORM Friday, indicated that Comrade Rodney will be turbaned by his Royal Majesty, the Hama Batta, Homun Alhamdu G. Teneke.

The event according to the invitation will take place on 8th February, 2020 by 10:00am at the palace of the royal father in Demsa Local Government Area Adamawa state.

It added that reception will take place at Njoboliyo, in Fufore Local Government Area in the state immediately after the turbaning ceremony.
