HON.KWADA CONDOLES EYN, MICHIKA OVER THE KILLING OF CAN CHAIR

Adamawa state House of Member representing Michika constituency, Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada has expressed heartfelt sympathy to the President Church of Brethren in Nigeria (EYN) and Michika Local Government Area over the killing of the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Michika branch, Rev. Lawan Andimi.

Boko Haram terrorists had early this week rejected a N50m ransom and went ahead and beheaded the Chairman of the association Michika branch.

In a condolence message which was made available to newsmen Thursday, the Honourable Member extended a heartfelt sympathy on behalf of his family and Michika constituency to the President of EYN, Rev. Joel S. Billi and entire EYN church, family of the deceased, Michika LGA and the state in general over the killing of the Chairman.

"As you mourn the tragic loss of our dear father in the Lord, please be assured of my sympathy and profound sorrow by the manner of his demise especially as he still had a lot to contribute to the growth of the church".

The Lawmaker said that he received the news of the murder of the Chairman with a rude shock and described the gruesome murder of the Chairman as barbaric and animalistic.

However, he prayed God to comfort the President and the entire church, the family he left behind and his constituents in general at this hour of painful trial.

Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada (Depolis) who is also the Chairman House Standing on Security of the House of Assembly called on the government at all levels to do everything possible towards addressing security challenges facing the society.
