Following a resounding victory by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the supreme court Tuesday, the Deputy Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo has felicitated with the Governor over supreme court's verdict that upheld his election.
Hon. Mackondo who is the member representing Numan Constituency expressed heartfelt congratulations over the victory of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Fintiri at the court, saying that the victory is not for the PDP and the Governor alone but the entire people of the state.
A statement by the Deputy Speaker which was made available to newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa state capital Tuesday, said that the court has finally put indelible judicial seal on Fintiri's victory at the poll.
The lawmaker asserted that himself and entire Numan constituents are glad that the legal tussle which started at Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, Appeal Court and now Supreme has ended in favour of the peoples' Governor.
He heartily rejoiced with PDP, Fintiri and teeming electorate of the state on the affirmation of solid mandate given to their government, and wished Fintiri a successful tenure.
While appealing for support and corporation from all and sundry, Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo, called on the opposition parties to rally round the present administration for the progress of the state.
