Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has pledged to equip Ganye General Hospital in Ganye Local Government Area Adamawa state with sophisticated medical equipment to make it become a referral centre for the chiefdom.
According to the governor, the government of the day will soon deploy more man power at the hospital for effective service delivery.
The Governor who stated this Tuesday while fielding questions from newsmen shortly after inspecting the hospital, said that his government is committed to improving the standard of the hospital to meet the health needs of the people in the area.
According to him, making the general hospital more functional will go along way in assisting people in the chiefdom, reiterating his commitment to according the sector needed attention.
He told newsmen that the present administration will equally embark on the renovation of other hospitals in the state with state-of-art facilities and qualified personnel for optimum performance.
He gave kudos to the Senator representing Adamawa Southern Senatorial district, Dauda Binos Yaroe for introducing free medical out reach for his electorate.
