SUPREME COURT: ADHA MP, MICHIKA COMMUNITY REJOICE WITH GOV FINTIRI

Adamawa State House of Assembly Legislator representing Michika Constituency, Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada and his Michika Community have joined hundreds of well wishers in and around the state in celebrating the victory of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the Peoples' Democratic Party(PDP) at Apex Court.

The Supreme Court had on Tuesday validated the election of Governor Fintiri and his party and duly threw away the appeal instituted by the opposition All Progressives Congress(APC) in the state.

A statement by the Media Office of Hon. Kwada (Depolis) and made available to newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, said that the entire Michika Local Government Area welcomed the court dismissal of the appeal against the peoples' Governor and his political party.

Hon. Kwada who is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Security of the hallowed chamber noted that the apex court was apt and consistent with the principle of justice administration in affirming the peoples' mandate in Adamawa state.

He congratulated the Governor on behalf of his family and Michika constituency in general for the victory, saying that the resounding victory deserves celebration from all and sundry.

He however reiterated the unwavering support and corporation to Fintiri's government so as to enable it deliver on its mandate, saying that the victory will encourage the Governor to continue to do more for his teeming electorate in the state.

Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada called on the Governor to fire on in his quest to delivering dividends of democracy and good governance to the people of Adamawa state.
