Member representing Yola North Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Hamidu Sajoh Lekki has described the victory of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the Peoples' Democratic Part (PDP) at the Supreme Court as victory for democracy and the people of the state.
In a congratulatory message on behalf of his family and the good people of Yola North Constituency by his Media Office on Tuesday, the lawmaker disclosed that the Supreme Court verdict affirmed the yearnings of the people of state that Fintiri is the preferred leader with requisite attributes to fix the state on the path of greatness.
Hon. Lekki who is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Health and Human Services, declared that the resounding victory of Fintiri, "The Fresh Air Governor" has refreshed every part of the state, adding that the outcome would enhance good governance that will make everybody proud.
Hon. Lekki added that the victory is for the entire citizens who are yearning for good governance which according to him the PDP government is vigorously pursuing and urged the opposition APC and its flag bearer to accept the judgement in good fate and support Fintiri in the interest of the state.
He advised Fintiri to see himself as a man of destiny and should always remember that God gives power to whoever he wishes, and he should remain focus so as to deliver dividends of democracy to the citizens.
While reaffirming his loyalty to the leadership of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) at all levels, the legislator tasked other political parties to join hands with the government of Ahmadu Fintiri for the betterment of the state.
