JUBILATION AS ADAMAWA WORKERS GET N70,000 MINIMUM WAGE



It has been a celebration galore in Yola, Adamawa State State as Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, commenced payment of N70,000 new minimum wage approved by the Federal Government.


Governor Fintiri, had granted approval for the payment of the new minimum wage beginning from August, 2024, while that of the LG workers will begin in September, 2024.


In fulfiment of his promise to the workers, Governor Fintiri, on Friday commenced the payment as confirmed by some workers who had received their salaries with the new minimum wage.


Cross section of the state workers who spoke to News Platform, said that they have received their salaries with the promised new minimum wage and appreciated the effort of the Governor.


The workers commended Governor Fintiri for fulfilling his promises to them and the state, and described him as a man of words.


The workers thanked the "Fresh Air Governor" for putting smile in their faces and that of their families and promised to continue to support him to enable him continue to deliver more dividends of democracy to the electorate.
