Adamawa Govt to Recruit 4,000 Job Seekers into Workforce




Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has directed the State Civil Service Commission to open a recruitment portal for the employment of 4,000 into the state’s workforce. 


The approval for the recruitment exercise to fill vacancies across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the state, takes effect from midnight Tuesday April 29th to May, 12 2025.


This is contained in a release by the Chief Press to Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou and made available to newsmen in Yola.


It said that eligible candidates must posses relevant qualifications and be ready to produce original copies of their credentials at the venue of the interview.


"Those who attended the last aborted interview can reapply. Governor Fintiri is committed to improving the living standards of the citizens, particularly the youth.


It said that Governor Fintiri”s administration prioritizes job creation to ensure no one is left idle.


“This initiative aims to enhance living standards, empower the younger generation and foster economic growth and development” he said.


By providing job opportunities, the Government demonstrates its commitment to the welfare and development of Adamawa citizens.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
