Sen Iya Abbas Felicitates with Christians at Easter



Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, representing Adamawa central senatorial district has conveyed his easter message to Christians in his constituency and the state as they join fellow believers around the globe in commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.


Iya Abbas in his easter message through his Yola media office on Friday, the senator emphasized that easter serves as a beacon of hope while reaffirming faith in the nation’s capacity to surmount present challenges and anticipate brighter prospects ahead.


The lawmaker who doubles as Chairman, Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology, calls for unity, tolerance and peaceful co-existence among Nigerians


Senator Aminu Iya Abbas commended Christians for their observance of the Lenten period and encouraged them to contemplate the profound significance of the season. 


He said, as people's representatives he feel their pains amidst security challenges bideveiling some parts of the constituency and urge them show understanding with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON as his administration makes frantic efforts to reposition the state on the path of sustainable growth and development.


The senator while reaffirming his commitment towards providing more dividends of democracy to his people also saluted the constituents for their support and understanding in the course of delivering his electioneering campaign promises.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
