Easter: Speaker Bathiya Urges Citizens to Embrace Peace, Love




As Christians all over the world commemorate 2025 Easter, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley has urged citizens to embrace peace and love.


Rt. Hon. Bathiya, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard, said as Christians across the globe reflect on the love demonstrated by Jesus Christ on the cross, they should extend same to their neighbours.


He called on Christians to use the period for sober reflection by praying for peace and unity of the state and the country as a whole. 


Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley maintained that the wealth to do in the society should also assist the less privileged in the society as exemplified in the teachings of Jesus Christ to always be your brothers keeper.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
