FCT FRSC Lauds Contributions of Senator Amos Yohanna to National Devt

 




Senator Amos K. Yohanna, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, on Thursday received the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Corps Commander Chorrie Isah Muta’a, and his team on a courtesy visit to his office in Abuja.


The visit was aimed at strengthening relationships and fostering collaboration between the legislative arm and the FRSC, particularly in advocating for meaningful reforms within the corps to enhance road safety across the country.


During the meeting, Corps Commander Muta’a appreciated the senator for his contributions to national development and sought his support in pushing for policies that will improve the effectiveness and welfare of FRSC personnel. 


He emphasized the importance of legislative backing in driving reforms that address emerging challenges in road traffic management, safety awareness, and logistics.


Senator Yohanna welcomed the delegation warmly and commended the FRSC for their tireless efforts in safeguarding lives on Nigerian roads. 


He acknowledged the sacrifices made daily by officers of the corps and assured them of his willingness to support initiatives aimed at improving their operations and welfare through legislative advocacy.


He further expressed his commitment to working closely with the FRSC and other relevant stakeholders to promote safer roads and reduce the alarming rate of road traffic accidents in the country.


The visit ended with both parties agreeing to maintain ongoing dialogue and explore areas of mutual interest for the betterment of the transport and road safety sector in Nigeria.
