Tears, Eulogies as Special Adviser to Fintiri Laid to Rest
The remains of Special Adviser to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and PDP Chieftain, Thomas Godwin Zamfara, was laid at his home town in Kala'a, Hong LGA, Adamawa state amidst tears and eulogies.
The deceased was committed to mother earth after funeral Mass at St- Michael's Catholic Church Kala'a as tears rolled freely from the eyes of family members, friends and dignitaries who attended the funeral mass.
Hundreds of mourners who bid him farewell to the deceased, speak volume on the man Thomas Godwin Zamfara.
The Tol Huba, HRM. Alheri Bulus Nyako described the manner and way he died, saying that such ugly incident will not occur again and called on the youths to be a vanguard of change for promoting peace and unity.
In their separate tributes, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, Senator Adamawa Central, Aminu Iya Abbas, former Minister of Education, Dr Aliyu Idi Hong and the Chairman Hong LGC, Hon Usman Inuwa Wa'aganda elogised the late Zamfara for his contributions to the party and the community.
While describing him as peace maker, they said Zamfara will be missed not only by his immediate family but the party and the community as a whole.
They called on the security operatives to investigate the mystery behind Zamfara's death and bring the perpetrators to face the full wrath of Law.
Late Thomas Zamfara who was murdered in cool blood on Tuesday 15th April by unknown persons at the age of 49,was the special adviser to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Local Government Organising Secretary of the People's Democratic Party Hong, living behind aged parents, brothers and sisters.
