Easter: AIG Zone 3 Yola Greets Faithful, Assures of Adequate Security

 




The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) of Zone 3 Yola, Auwal Mohammed Musa, has extended the zone's heartfelt Easter greetings to all Nigerians, particularly residents of Adamawa and Taraba States respectively. 


The AIG's Easter felicitations is contained in a release signed by SP Yusuf Adamu Mohammed, Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 3 Headquarters, Yola.


He disclosed that as part of proactive measures to ensure a hitch-free celebration, the AIG has directed Commissioners of Police in the two states under the Zone’s Area of Responsibility (AoR) to strengthen security with intensified patrols, visibility policing, and strategic deployments.


The AIG further urged all security personnel to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, impartiality, and vigilance.  


It advised citizens to remain security-conscious, law-abiding, and cooperative* with security agencies to prevent any breach of peace.  


AIG Auwal Mohammed Musa, reaffirmed the Zone’s commitment to efficiency, transparency, and public trust in policing across the states and Nigeria at large. He concluded with best wishes for a peaceful and joyous Easter celebration.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
