An 18 year old Sani Ibrahim is to celebrate 2022 Eid-el-Kabir in a Yola prison custody in Adamawa State for theft of N100, 000 Sallah ram.
Hon. Ibrahim Musa Ulenda of the Upper Area Court 4 remanded the Defendant after he pleaded guilty for the offence of theft contrary to section 276 of the Penal Code Law.
Sani, who hails from Numan Local Government Area, admitted stealing the ram belonging to Mohammed Yahaya of Shelleng LGA on the 5th July, 2022.
He was arraigned before the court by the Prosecutor, Seargent Kabiru Abubakar, after he was apprehended in connection to the offence.
After the Defendant's guilt plea, the Prosecutor prayed the court to adjourn the matter to enable him call a witness for the purpose of corroboration and summary trial.
The Court presided by Hon. Ibrahim Musa Ulenda, granted the application and adjourned the case to 28th July, 2022 for summary trial.
