QUEEN OF BACHAMA KINGDOM CONDEMNS KILLINGS IN MANGU, SEEKS GOVT INTERVENTION

Her Royal Majesty, Mbamtu Bachama, Mbamto Roseline Tongsat Daniel Ismaila has strongly condemned killings in Mangu, her ancestral hometown in Plateau State.


Mbamto Roseline however called on both State and Federal  Governments to as a matter of urgency intervene for the restoration of peace and stability.


Her Royal Majesty condemned the recent killings by alleged bandits when she visited the community in order to deliver relief materials to cushion the effect of the hardships being experienced by the victims.




Most of the inhabitants had their homes, properties and farmlands destroyed, others burnt down by the assailants leaving them with no sustenance as they count on their losses in both human lives and properties. 


The Bachama Queen, translated Mbamtu Bachama Roseline Tongsat Daniel Ismaila is the wife of the 29th Hama Bachama, King of the Bachama Kingdom, a 1st Class Monarch in Adamawa State Northeast Nigeria.


During the visit, Her Majesty Roseline Ismaila presented a letter of encouragement to HRH Dah John Putmang Hirse, CON, mni, the Mishkaham Mwaghavul of Mwaghavul Traditional Council, Plateau State. 


She was accompanied by the Bwatiye community in Jos, Women and Wives of Title holders and the Title holders purposely to identify with her people in their suffering.


In her remarks, Mbamto Roseline expressed the hope that the perpetrators of the evil acts would be apprehended and brought to book. 


She prayed that the Almighty God restores peace and ordains a lasting solution to the lingering attacks on the innocent farming communities. 


While stating that her visit was to further cement the existing cordial relationship between the Bachama and Mwaghavul Kingdoms, Mbamto Roseline Tongsat Ismaila called on the Government to be more proactive towards protecting lives and property of her citizens.


She advocated for the empowerment of traditional institutions in all ramifications so as to effectively coordinate security matters in their respective domains. 


Roseline Ismaila condoled the Mishkaham Mwaghavul and prayed for God to comfort all bereaved families. 



Responding, the paramount ruler and monarch of the Mwaghavul chiefdom Dah John Putmang Hirse, CON, mni, appreciated their daughter and Queen of the Bachama Kingdom for identifying with her roots in the trying moments and particularly thanked her for providing succour for them in form of sundry relief materials. 


He described Bachama Kingdom as in-law to Mwaghavul Kingdom, praying that the good relationship will continue while the two kingdoms overcome their foes. 


Mangu is the Capital of Mwaghavul nation and headquarters of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau state, just like Numan remains the Administrative Capital of Bachama Chiefdom and headquarters of Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa state. Both Kingdoms have a history that they have never been conquered before.
