ADHA TO BEGIN SCREENING OF COMMISSIONER NOMINEES TUESDAY



Adamawa State House of Assembly has slated the 1st August, 2023 for the screening of 9 out of 23 Commissioner Nominees.


Those to be screened on Tuesday include: Ibrahim Yayaji (Yola North), Adamu Prambe (Song), Prof. Finthuwa David Jatau (Gombi), Adamu Atiku and Alloysious Babadoke (Jada).


Others are: Mohammed Sadiq (Ganye), Tijjani Maksha (Maiha), Dr. John Ishaya Dabari and Augustina Wandayi (Michika), Chief Felix Tangwami and Iiya James (Demsa), Anthony Birina (Guyuk) and Joab Haggai Sahma (Girei).


Other nominees are to be screened on Wednesday, the 2nd August, 2023.


The Speaker of the assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, announced this while presiding over the sitting on Monday, saying that the nominees are to submit 35 copies of their CV's.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
