BIZARRE: ADAMAWA LOVER STABS RIVAL IN BUTTOCKS TO DEATH

A jealous lover, Benedict Musa Haziel, is being investigated by the Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command for allegedly stabbing his rival to death.

The 22 year old Benedict of Nasarawo Jereng in Mayo Belwa Local Government Area, thrust a knife into the buttocks of his rival, Luka, during a quarrel over Blessing, his fiancee.

He was recently paraded along side 43 other suspects by the Commissioner of Police, S. K. Akande, for various offences where the CP assured of their prosecution upon completion of investigation.

Benedict allegedly used a knife in his possession and launched it into Luka's buttocks, as a result of which he gave up his ghost due to excessive bleeding.

The culprit who paid the sum of N15, 000 as part of Blessing's dowry, allegedly murdered his rival whom he had accused of going out with his fiancee.

Benedict was said to have warned the deceased on several occasions to stop going out with her but refused to heed the warning instead, kept on going out with her.

NEWS PLATFORM gathered that the suspect, who was planning to go to Pastors' School, trailed his so called wife to be right at the residence of the deceased on the 18th August, 2022, where the bloody encounter ensued.

The suspect said, "I warned him to steer clear of her because we are planning to get married. So, on that fateful night, I trailed her to the residence of Luka, with an intention of taking her to her parents".

"He engaged me in a fight on my arrival at their residence. I mistakenly used a knife in my possession and stabbed him in the buttocks. It was not my intention to kill him",  he regretted.
