ADAMAWA ALGON CHAIR TASKS 226 COUNCILLORS ON FINTIRI's RE-ELECTION

The Chairman Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Adamawa chapter, Hon. Gidado Abdulsalam, has tasked 226 Councillors to work towards the re-election of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. NEWS PLATFORM can report.

Hon. Abdulsalam, who is the Chairman Song LGC, charged them to strive towards delivering their political wards to Governor Fintiri, come 2023.

He gave the charge while addressing 226 Councillors at the just concluded 2-Day Indunction Workshop organised by the State House of Assembly in conjunction with Ministry of LG Affairs for the Councillors.

The ALGON Boss stated that politics is about people, and urged them to go round house to house and mobilise eligible voters to vote massively for Fintiri during the forthcoming general election.

He appealed to them to work hand in hand with the officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at wards level, and deliver their wards to the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Governor Fintiri and any other PDP candidate come 2023.

"We are foot soldiers of Governor Fintiri, and we have the confidence that we will win the 2023 elections, from the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, Governorship and the Presidency",  Hon. Abdulsalam added.

According to him, the performance of the Fintiri led administration and its predisposition to infrastructural development in Adamawa State is enough for the electorate to support his re-election bid.

Hon. Abdulsalam Gidado, said that this is an opportunity for them as Chairmen and Councillors to demostrate their capabilities, explaining that collectively, they will deliver the State to Atiku, Fintiri and any other candidate.
