Concerned by the plight of his electorate in transporting their goods and services from the hinterland, the Member representing Gombi constituency at the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Japhet Kefas, has supported the reconstruction of a drift at Kanjara river in Gombi.

The drift which was connecting Ga'anda, Fotta, Gabun, Dingai and several other communities to the headquarters of Gombi LGC, was constructed by former Governor Boni Haruna, but washed away by flood disaster.

But to rescue the situation of his constituents, the Member had on Saturday initiated and funded the reconstruction of the washed away drift by supplying cement, gravel and giving out stipends to those that participated in the reconstruction of the drift.

The Legislator was able to set a good example by physically participating in the hardwork, the effort which was applauded by his constituents who went ahead and pleaded with him to prepare and re-contest during the forthcoming election, so as to enable him provide more dividends to them.
