ARMED ROBBERS INVADE ADHA LAWMAKER'S RESIDENCE, BEAT UP CHILDREN

About 7 men suspected to be armed robbers in the early hours of Wednesday invaded the residence of the Member representing Michika constituency at the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Joseph Ayuba Kwada, and carted away valuable properties.

According to eyewitness, the hoodlums armed with sophisticated weapons stormed the House of Lawmaker around 2am, beat up 7 children who were in the house, while ransacking the entire residence.

The armed robbers, according to eyewitness, shot in the air and forced the children to tell them the whereabout of the Legislator, but their victims told them that the Member was in the house, thereby descending on the children.

Some of the victims stated that the thieves divided themselves in the house and searched everywhere, but could not trace the whereabout of the Member, but could not find him, thereby stealing phones, cash and other valuable properties of the Honourable Member and that of his family members.

The Lawmaker who confirmed the incident to NEWS PLATFORM today, said that no life lost during the operation, and appreciated God for sparing his life and that of his family members.

Effort by NEWS PLATFORM to get confirmation from  Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO) of state Police Command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, was not successful at the time of filing in this report.
