The Deputy Speaker and Member representing Numan constituency at the Assembly, thanked the Kingmakers, Numan Traditional Council and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for confirming the selection of new Hama Bachama.
Governor Fintiri has on Saturday presented an appointment letter to new Hama Bachama, following his selection by the kingmakers and subsequent confirmation by the state government.
The emergence of Homun Shagah followed the demise of former Hama Bachama, Homun Honest Stephen Irmiya, who died after a brief illness in Numan.
But Hon. Mackondo in a statement on his behalf, family and entire Numan constituency, congratulated the new royal father and wished him success while sterring the affairs of the kingdom.
The Lawmaker said he is confident that in the new Paramount Ruler will consolidate on the landmark achievements recorded by late King in the area of peace building, unity, tolerance and by making the kingdom a home to all.
Hon. Pwamwakenon Mackondo prayed God to give him wisdom, protect, preserve and give him long live to lead his subjects, appealing to his teeming electorate to rally round to enable him succeed.
