COURT NULLIFIES APC CONGRESS FOR MUBI SOUTH LGA



Adamawa State High Court on Wednesday nullified the congress for Chairmanship of All Progressives Congress(APC), Mubi South Local Government Area.


The presiding judge, Honourable Justice Kanyson S. Lawanson, further ordered for fresh congress in the affected LGA within 2 weeks, declaring that the purported congress which produced Alhaji Njobdi Sale Kwaja, is null and void.


According to the court, there was no APC Congress held on the 4th day of September, 2021 for the Chairmanship in the affected LGA.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
