Hauwa Umaru and her daughter of Ngurore in Yola South Local Government Area who were abducted on Sunday last week have escaped from the den of their abductors.
Yet to be identified gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Sunday attacked Ngurore police station and kidnapped Hauwa and her daughter in a nearby house.
But in a statement by the image maker of the state police command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, which was made available to NEWS PLATFORM on Tuesday, said that Hauwa and her daughter have escasped from kidnappers' den.
DSP Nguroje, said that the abducted mother and daugther have escaped from captivity, and "that they were rescued by the police unharmed".
He said that command's operatives and members of vigilantes gave hurt chase to the kidnappers and that the kidnappers abandoned the victims and escaped for their lives .
