EX- ADAMAWA NBA CHAIR CONGRATULATES OTA, FIDA OVER SUCCESSFUL WEEK



The former Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association(NBA) Adamawa state branch, Barr. Aji Kamale, has congratulated OTA and the International Federation of Women Lawyers(FIDA) Ekiti branch over a successful 2021 annual week.


Barr. Kamale, in a congratulatory message to OTA and FIDA branches, emphasized on the significance of the theme of 2021 law week " Technology in the Administration of Justice " 


He stated that the theme of the event was carefully selected and that it has sharpened discourse on values of the modern technology among lawyers. 


He noted with satisfaction how the Women Lawyers could not leave any stone unturned in discussing the topic "Equality and Justice" in a democratic setting, saying that social justice is paramount, and further congratulated them on the hitch free annual week.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. Gambo Nakura was arraigned before the court for the offences of defamation of character, use of insulting and abusive language, disturbance of public peace and inciting disturbance contrary to sections 378, 379, 385 and 80 of the penal code law. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
