The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has extended his hearty felicitations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for clocking 100 days in office.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard, applauded Fintiri's administration, saying that his 2nd tenure is a consolidation on the developmental strides he had achieved during 1st tenure.
He disclosed that the confidence Adamawa State electorate had in Fintiri's 1st tenure resulted in his re- election during 2023 general election so as to enable "The Fresh Governor" consolidate on the gains.
He noted that the 1st hundred days in his 2nd tenure has yielded positive result taking into cognisance how the Governor has started his magic in projects execution despite the economic hardship and the fuel subsidy challenges.
While calling on the citizens to continue to support the present administration to enable it continue with the developmental programmes, the Speaker maintained that the relationship between the executive and the legislature remains cordial.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley reiterated that the Hon. Members of the 8th Assembly will continue to support the Governor to enable him achieve the desired goals, and called on the people to continue to live in peace and harmony.
