ADHA: TRIBUNAL DECLARES N/BINYERI ELECTION INCONCLUSIVE



The National /House of Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Yola, Adamawa State on Friday, declared the election conducted in Nasarawo Binyeri  inconclusive.


It ordered INEC to conduct election at 2 polling units in the state constituency within 90 days and that the election will be participated by PDP and APC candidates only.


This followed judgement delivered in petition filed by the immediate past member of the assembly, Hon. Umar Nashon Gubi against the incumbent member, Hon. Babangida Mohammed Jidda.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
