Pastors of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) in Lamurde Local Government Area, Adamawa State have felicitated with the Member representing Lamurde constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Myandassa Bauna, for his representation.
Also, the Clergymen have prayed God to grant him and his colleagues sound health and wisdom on how to provide people oriented representation at the House of Assembly.
Speaking while leading other pastors on a courtesy visit on Hon. Bauna yesterday, Dean Reverend Mathias Zakariah Binkola, said they were in his office purposely to congratulate him for what God has done in his life.
Rev. Zakariah Binkola, told the Legislator that their visit was also to encourage him to strive hard and leave behind an indelible mark so that his people and the state will make reference to it.
While praying God to uphold, guide and give him wisdom to steer the ship of the constituency at the house, the LCCN Pastors urged him to stand by the truth, and put in more effort towards providing good representation.
Responding, Hon. Myandassa Bauna(Lamurde Constituency) appreciated the pastors for the visit and urged them not to relent in praying for him to enable him complete his tenure successfully.
Hon. Bauna, assured the delegation that he will stand by the truth, remain in the truth and that the truth will be his last thing before leaving the hallowed chamber, saying that he will not in any way allow mundane things to drive his mind around.
According to him, this is the opportunity he has to impact positively in the lives of his teeming constituents, as according to him, there will no more time to do anything after he has left this world.
He further told them that he always remember the day he held the Bible in his hand and swore to it that he will do what is right, saying nobody, no amount of money or government that can protect him on the day of judgement if fails to do what he swore to do.
Hon. Myandassa Bauna, stated that the only thing that is left for people is nothing but repentance, and appealed to the clergymen to pray for him and his colleagues to end well.
