ADHA TO RECEIVE REPORT OF ITS INVESTIGATIVE CTTEE TODAY



The Adamawa State House of Assembly may today receive the report of its Investigative Committee constituted with a mandate to investigate the workforce, transfer of service, salary scale and other discrepancies in the House of Assembly.

The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, stated this at a Townhall Meeting organised by the International Republican Institute (IRI) in conjunction with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and held at Mararaban Mubi, over the weekend.

Rt. Hon. Iya Abbas, had while responding on the demands presented to him by the representatives of his constituents, said that the house under his leadership has set up the investigative committee to probe the official activities of the staff of the house ranging from the entire workforce, promotion, salary scale, transfer of service among others.

He told the gathering that he is expecting the committee's report today Tuesday 3rd September, 2019, and that whatever might be the findings of the committee, will be fully implemented for the progress of the house.

He said that the primary concern of the present administration is to see to development of the state, and that the house on its part will leave no stone unturned in changing the narratives of the hallowed chamber.
