ADHA EXTENDS CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO LATE WAMPANA'S FAMILY


 Adamawa State House of Assembly have expressed its sadness over the death of first Speaker of the House during defunct Gongola State and first Senator Representing Adamawa North Senatorial district Senator Paul Wampana Vimtim.

The Speaker of the House Alhaji Aminu Iya Abbas in a statement made available to newsmen in Yola Sunday through the Chairman House Standing Committee on Information Mr. Japhet Kefas on behalf of other members of the seventh Assembly described the deceased as ‘fearless’.

"Our heart goes out to his family, the government and people of Adamawa State over the loss of this conscientious and patriotic Nigerian. He shall be sorely missed,” the statement said.

The House prayed that God grant Senator Wampana eternal rest the and his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
