DEP SPEAKER ADHA CONGRATULATES MUSLIMS, HARPS ON PEACE, UNITY


As Adamawa State Muslims join millions of their counterpart in celebrating Eid-el- Fitir, marking the end of 2020 Ramadan fast, the Deputy Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackindo has extended his goodwill message to muslim faithful in his constituency.

Hon. Mackondo In a congratulatory message in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, rejoiced with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Speaker and other State Legislators, his Numan constituency on the completion of Ramadan fast.

Hon. Mackondo also urged all Muslims to imbibe the lessons learnt during the Ramadan period through sacrifices, almsgiving to the needy, continuous exhibition of piety as well as charity to one another.

He said the celebration is coming at a time that the world is thrown into confusion with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic which, he expressed optimism that it will soon be over.

He called on various faiths to join in reflection and prayers for the state, the nation and the world for God to end Covid -19 which is currently spreading like a wild fire, appealing to them to continue to coexist peacefully.

Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo reiterated his commitment to providing his constituency with people oriented representation at the state legislature.
