FINTIRI FETEST BISHOP DAMI AS HE CLOCKS 11 YEARS OF EPISCOPAL SERVICE


Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Most Rev. Stephen Dami Mamza as he celebrates 11 years of Episcopal Service as Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese.

A statement by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou and made available to newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, described Bishop Dami as a focused and visionary leader who has shaped many lives as a preacher, counselor and philanthropist.

Governor Fintiri said that the humility, purposeful and responsive leadership of Dr. Dami has greatly impacted the State, his Diocese and beyond, and wished him many more years of service to God and humanity in good health and strength.

Governor Fintiri added that the contributions of the Bishop is commendable especially in peace building initiatives, applauding his passion to building a better state and fostering peace and understanding among people of different religions and tribes.
