BREAKING: 2 FRESH CASES OF COVID-19 RECORDED IN HONG, YOLA SOUTH LGAS



Adamawa State Covid -19 Containment Committee has announced two new cases of Covid-19, bringing a total of 4 cases of the dreaded pandemic in the state.

According to Committee headed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mallam Bashir Ahmad, the pandemic is recorded in Hildi in Hong LGA and in Saminaka in Yola South LGAs respectively.

The Secretary to the State Government who is the State Chairman COVID-19 Containment Committee has announced that Adamawa State recorded another two cases of coronavirus making a total of four cases in the state.

The Chairman who stated this during a Press Briefing in the Situation Room, State Secretariat Yola, explained that the new cases are independent to each other and has no link to the other two cases in the state.

He revealed that this followed after the Committee received report of nine out of the eleven samples sent to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC in which seven were found negative and two showed positive.

The two new cases are one from Hildi, Hong local government and the other who is a female is in Saminaka, Yola South local government who is currently at the Isolation Centre and declared that all the four cases are independent of one another.
