Adamawa State House of Assembly has expressed sadness over the death of the first Senator who represented Adamawa Northern Senatorial district and first Speaker of the House of Assembly during the defunct Gogola state, Senator Paul Wampana Vimtim.
The House of Assembly further extended its heartfelt message of condolence to the immediate family of the deceased as well as the state in general, saying that the loss is not only for the family but the entire state.
A message by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas through the Chairman House Standing Committee on Information, Hon. Japhet Kefas (Gombi) condoled the family and the state on behalf of the entire House.
According to the message, the Speaker and the Honourable members are deeply saddened over the demise of this patriotic Nigerian, saying that the deceased will be greatly missed.
The House prayed that God to grant Senator Wampana eternal rest the and his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
