Adamawa state House of Assembly has fixed Wenesday 4th December, 2019 for the commencement of 2020 budget defence.
According to the time table by the House Standing Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation headed by Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno and made available to NEWS PLATFORM today, indicated that the defence will kick start on 4th to 11th December 2019.
The table says that the defence will start with the committees of Youth Sport, Culture and Tourism, Finance, Appropriation and Budget, Security and Boarder Integration, Commerce Trade and Cooperatives and Environment and Solid Minerals.
According to the time table, the committees on Public Service and Electoral Matters, State Planning, Water Resources, Judiciary and Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs are expected to defend their budget on 5th December.
The Committees on Women Affairs and Social Development, Inter- Parliamentary Affairs, Special Duties and IDP's, House Services, Public Petitions and Agriculture and Livestock are to carry out their defence on 6th December.
While Committees on Public Accounts, Works Landand Survey, Infrastructure Community and Rural Development, Information, POWECO and SDGs, Health and Human Services will carry out their own defence on 10.
The defence will be rounded up on 11thDecember with the committees on Education, Transport Labour and Productivity, Housing and Urban Development.
