ADHA MP GIVES FINTIRI PASS MARK ON TOWNSHIP ROADS REHABILITATION

Impressed by his effort towards road construction within the state capital, the Member representing Yola North constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly,  Hon. Hamidu Sajoh Lekki has applauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for  flagging off the rehabilitation of Bachure and other township roads in his constituency.

The member of the Parliament further commended the Governor for delivering on his campaign promises in his constituency, urging on the contractors handling the road projects to adhere strictly to the contract agreement.

Hon. Lekki who gave the pass mark while speaking  to newsmen on Monday, said that his constituents are happy for the projects and that it will open up the area for further socio-economic development whenever it is completed.

While urging on his constituents to continue in supporting the government, the legislator disclosed that 60 to 70 percent developmental projects captured in the 2020 budget will be executed in his constituency, saying that Governor Fintiri has done his constituency proud.

Hon. Lekki who is also the Chairman House Standing Committee on Health and Human Services explained that Bachure community which is densely populated is without access road, saying that the road will end the suffering they have been encountering most especially during rainy season.

However, he pledged the continued support of the people of Yola North to the present administration, assuring that he would contribute his quarter through supervision to ensure smooth execution of the projects so to enable government move on with other projects.

Hon. Hamidu Sajoh Lekki noted that road construction and other infrastructural development have multiplier effects, adding that the state government is creating the enabling environment for investments to thrive in the state.
