ADAMAWA DEP SPEAKER DRUMS UP SUPPORT FOR HON. KOTO, PDP
The Deputy Speaker Adamawa state House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo has canvassed support for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the state, saying that PDP is the only existing political party in the state.
Hon. Mackondo further canvassed votes for Innocent Koto, Chairmanship Candidate for Numan Local Government Council under the platform of PDP ahead of Saturday 7th December, LGC election.
The Deputy Speaker who sought the support while on the Campaign Train of the Koto to Zangun, Kwapuke, Ngalang and Imbru in Imbru ward, Numan LGA yesterday, urged the PDP faithful to support the party so as to succeed in the state.
He told the electorate that supporting the PDP and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri led administration in the state has become necessary considering the remarkable achievements so far recorded in education, health and other critical sectors.
The lawmaker however called on the eligible voters in the LGA to come out in their large number and vote for Hon. Innocent Koto and other PDP candidates so as to provide them with more dividends of democracy at the LG levels.
Addressing his supporters, the Chairmanship Candidate for Numan LGC, Hon. Innocent Koto appealed to them come out on Saturday and vote for him and all the Candidates for Councillorship across the LGAs.
Hon. Koto stated that as youth and an indigene of Numan, he knows most of the challenges bedevilling his people and promised to address them if he is elected and assumed office as chairman.
While appreciating the people for their support and cooperation, Hon. Koto pledged to work hard for the progress of Numan LGA, saying that he will strive towards meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens.
