KIDNAPPING: ADAMAWA POLICE COMMAND GIVES CITIZENS SECURITY TIPS

In the wake of rampant cases of kidnapping couple with other security threats in some parts of the state, the Adamawa State Police Command has given out some security tips to the citizens in the state.

The Police Command advised the general public most especially politicians who are on campaign ahead of Saturday 7th December, 2019 Local Government Councils polls it the state to always be security conscious of their environment.

A statement signed by the spokesman of the command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, and made available to NEWS PLATFORM in Yola, the Adamawa state capital further advised the citizens to avoid keeping late night unless where necessary.

DSP Yahaya Nguroje appealed to the general public to avoid picking road side taxis while travelling, instead they should use registered motor parks.

While calling on them to report any suspicious movement of person or persons to the police, the PPRO gave out the following number: 08089671313 for citizens to call when in distress or under security threats for immediate intervention.
