Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno Demsa const ADHA casting her votes
As Adamawa citizens await the outcome of today's Local Government Councils elections across the state, the member representing Demsa constituency at the state House of Assembly, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise.
Hon. Kate Mamuno who expressed her satisfaction after exercising her civic right in her constituency today, noted with delight how the election has been generally peaceful in Demsa.
The female Lawmaker said that the election is a civic responsibility for all citizens, and that she was in her constituency to cast her votes, commending the way the exercise has been carried out.
According to her, the exercise has been peaceful in her constituency without any rancour or disturbance, appealing to those that contested and their teeming supporters to remain calm no matter the outcome of the exercise.
Hon. Kate Mamuno who is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation specifically lauded the State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC) for its efforts in conducting the election.
She added that election is not a do or die affair and as such advised those in the race to accept the results of the election for peace and in the interest of the state.
On the relatively low turn out of the voters, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno told newsmen that there were complaints of low turn out of eligible voters in some places, but the turn out in some places is encouraging, appreciating her constituents for coming out to vote for the candidates of their choice.
