In recognition of her performance at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Kodomun Community Development Association, Demsa Local Government Area in the state has presented an award of excellence on the member representing Demsa at the Assembly, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno.
The Community however pledged it 100 percent support on the female lawmaker so as to enable her succeed in her representation, insisting that the member has been doing her constituency proud with her stewardship in the house.
The Chairman of Kodomun Community Development Association, Demsa branch, Mr. Simon Tonmo, made the pledge while presenting an award of excellence on the member and over her election into house in her office today.
Mr. Tonmo told the member that their coming was to present her with the award so as to serve as a source of encouragement to her, saying that the award will spur her to continue in putting her best for her electorates.
The stakeholder declared that supporting their member has become necessary considering her track record within her short time at the hallowed chamber, adding that the association will not relent in identifying with leaders who have the love of their people at heart.
In his remarks, the National President of the association, Mr Pious Raymond said that the award bestowed on the legislator will make her do more for humanity, saying that whenever she sees it, will make her to remember that her people are solidly behind her.
The President told the gathering that they have confidence in the capability of their member that will deliver on her mandate, calling on her constituents to rally round her for the progress of Demsa and Adamawa state in general.
Responding, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno (Demsa) thanked the leadership and the entire members of the community for the honour done to her, saying what they have done to her will continue to remain evergreen in her mind.
Hon. Kate said she is satisfied provided that her constituents are feeling the impact of her representation, saying that the award will encourage her to do more bearing in mind that people are closely watching her footsteps.
The Chairman House standing committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation assured them of her commitment to providing them and the state with the needed representation at all times, promising to continue to do her best for the people of Demsa.
