Ahead of Saturday Local Elections elections in Adamawa state, the State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC) has distributed sensitive electoral materials across the 21 LGAs for the conduct of the exercise.
Distributing the materials at the Central Stores in Yola, the Adamawa state capital today, the Chairman of the Commission, Alh. Isa Shettima said that materials are expected to reach all the 21 LGA this afternoon.
Alh. Shettima stated that the Commission has concluded necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the exercise, saying that the exercise will commence as early as 8:00am to 3:00pm tomorrow.
According to him, the collation of the results will be carried out at the headquarters of every LGA and be authenticated by the electoral body in Yola.
On the part of security, the Chairman told newsmen that necessary security arrangements have put in place for the maintenance of law and order through throughout the exercise.
