AT CHRISTMAS, ADHA DEP SPEAKER URGES PEACE, LOVE

As Christian faithful all over the world mark this year's anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Deputy Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo, has urged on Christians to live in peace and harmony with their neighbours as exemplified by Christ.

However, the Deputy Speaker has felicitated with citizens on the occasion of today’s celebration of Christmas, a Christian religious celebration to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.

In his Christmas message made available in Yola the Adamawa State capital today, the Deputy Speaker who represents Numan constituency in the House of Assembly tasked Christians on peace and love as they celebrate Christmas.

The State Lawmaker further advised Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of honesty, love, giving, meekness and hope which Jesus preached, saying without peace and love in the society, no meaningful development will be recorded.

According to him, it is appropriate for Christians to reflect on the love of God aptly espoused in the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus Christ, and however wished them merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo reiterated the commitment of the 7th Assembly towards providing peoples oriented legislation for the progress of the state.
