Three desperate female students of Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH), Yola have dragged 2 fake staff of Legal Studies Yola to Upper Area Court III in Yola, the Adamawa state capital for allegedly defrauding them #94,000 after promising to correct their carry over result in MAUTECH.

Adamawa Forest Guard Stabs 25 Yrs Old Man to Death

A 29 years old forest guard identified as Sunday Markus, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly stabbing a 25 years old Isa Hamadu to death. News Platform  Sunday was remanded at the correctional center by the Chief Magistrate Court I sitting in Yola, Adamawa  State Capital presided by Magistrate Lawan Musa. The defendant who hails from Pallam community in Madagali LGA, was remanded following his arraignment before the court by the Adamawa State Police Command. Arraigning the defendant, the prosecuting police officer, Inspector Hamza Abdullahi, informed the court that the defendant was arrested on the 2nd January, 2026. The defendant allegedly stabbed Isa Hamadu in the stomach, and that the victim was confirmed dead by the medical doctor at cottage hospital Madagali when he was rushed for medical attention.
