Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 3 people for gang raping a 13 year old girl in Ganye Local Government Area in the state.
The suspects, Isa Ibrahim, 55, Mohammed Abubakar, 45, and Ahmed Suleiman, 22, committed the offence in September, 2019, but went into hiding until Yesterday that the Police apprehended them.
The Command said that the minor has been impregnated by the suspects and currently receiving medical attention.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relation Officer(PPRO) of the Command in the State, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje and made available to NEWS PLATFORM this evening, said all the suspects are residents of Ganye LGA.
DPS Nguroje stated that all the accused are being investigated and that after the investigation, they will be charged to court for prosecution.
